Arpèges v7 — release notes

By Webeleon · 2 min read · Jul 14 2026

Arpèges v7 adds gesture navigation. The trainer used to only go forward — one card, then Next, then gone. Now you can move in every direction. Here's what shipped.

What's new

  • Swipe through the card trail. Every card you draw is kept. Swipe the card right — or tap Previous — to walk back to the shape you just had instead of losing it on Next. A pill shows where you are in the trail; tap it to jump back to the latest card. The trail holds your last twenty draws.
  • Slide the fret window a fret at a time. Drag the fretboard left or right to move the position along the neck, one fret per step, keeping the shape's span. The window slides across the whole neck, frets 0 to 22 — no more jumping between fixed boxes.
  • Steppers and arrow keys too. Every gesture has a non-swipe twin: two steppers sit under the fretboard, and on the web the arrow keys slide the neck when it's focused. Nothing here needs a touchscreen.

Where to get it

Arpèges runs in your browser at arpeggio.webeleon.dev — nothing to install. The Android build isn't on the Play Store yet, but I'll send you an APK on request: email me.
